Volunteer Opportunities
We offer both water-based and off-water volunteer roles. Water-based roles require physical fitness, while off-water opportunities include maintenance, administration, gardening, event support, and media work. Opportunities are available year-round.
Paddlers
Are you a keen canoeist? Can you commit time to help us? If this is you we are keen to hear from you!
We are looking for experienced Paddlers to join our team of volunteers to assist our instructors in the delivery of our fun and safe canoeing sessions. Knowledge of paddling is essential, British Canoeing Association Paddle sport leader Certificate and knowledge of the Norfolk Broads are advantageous. As part of the application process you will be asked to demonstrate your paddling skills and will be invited to meet the team to become familiar with our charity. A Our visitors are from a diverse range of backgrounds and have a wide range of needs.

Apply NowSenior Instructor Sailors
We are looking for experienced and competent Senior Instructor Sailor who holds an RYA Senior Instructor certificate, who can demonstrate the necessary skills and can commit to a stated day on a regular basis. A good knowledge of the broads, the area and the wildlife would be advantageous. Our visitors are from a diverse range of backgrounds and have a wide range of needs, good interpersonal skills required.
