Accessible Boating and Accommodation on the Norfolk Broads

We offer accessible accommodation, motor cruising, sailing, canoeing and pedal launches on the Norfolk Broads.

Cruisers

We have three motor cabin cruisers. Maureen Kenyon (8 passengers). Nancy Bee (9 passengers) and White Admiral (8 passengers).

Sailing Boats

We have 12 sailing boats of varying sizes - 2 Falmouth Bass Boats, 7 Yeoman, an RS Venture Keel and 3 Hansa 303's

Rafted Canoes

The Trust has a variety of canoes to suit different needs and abilities. Our location means that all canoeing takes place on placid water.

Pedal Launches

Our pedal launches are a great way to get out and about on the Broads.

Accessible Motor Cruising

Our motor boats are able to operate all year round. Lifejackets and buoyancy aids are available on board.

Accessible Sailing

You can sail with us between April and the end of October. We have 12 sailing boats of varying sizes.

Accessible Paddlesports

Our pedal launches are a great way to get out and about on the Broads.

Wellbeing on the Water

Come and enjoy a peaceful and relaxing boat trip on the Norfolk Broads. Our Well-being on the Water initiative offers anyone who is receiving palliative care or has a terminal disease diagnosis, the chance to come and have a relaxing motor cruiser trip or sailing session, free of charge.

An exciting day out

Each year we welcome around 5,000 visitors. We welcome regular day visitors from Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, our residential visitors from near and far!

Our visitors come as individuals, families or as groups. We welcome groups from day centres, residential homes, fellow charities, other voluntary organisations, and specialist schools . Many of our visitors become regulars, and part of the Nancy Oldfield Trust community. All activities are supervised by our team of Royal Yachting Association qualified and experienced staff and volunteers. They are all trained to ensure your safety and try to ensure that everyone has a great day out!

Kenyon Bungalow

Enjoy a week or weekend in our self-catering, fully accessible bungalow. It has 10 single beds in four bedrooms all with en-suite wet rooms, a large sitting room with TV/DVD player, fully equipped kitchen, with height-adjustable sink and hob for wheelchair users and a dining room.

Berwick Cottage

Berwick Cottage is in the attractive village of East Harling. Sleeping six people in total with spacious ground floor accommodation, specially designed to cater for two guests with disabilities. The cottage is ideally situated as a base for exploring the many tourist attractions in the local area, as well as being a place where you can enjoy a much needed relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
