What an amazing year we have had!
2022 has been a successful year with lots of new visitors and the return of many familiar faces through the door, all of whom have enjoyed motor cruising, canoeing, pedal launches and some have used our new Mega SUP.
We are delighted to of welcomed new volunteers who are fitting in nicely and each bring a wealth of knowledge and skills to share. Volunteers have undergone updates to training during the Winter months so they are all geared up and ready for a new year ahead!
In Spring we took on Berwick Cottage, a fully accessible, spacious property in East Harling. Guest have enjoyed exploring the ‘new-to-us’ area and their stay included a motor cruiser trip from our base at Neatishead. Kenyon Bungalow continues to be a popular destination for families and groups alike and many have been visiting for years!
We have had a change in staffing; we said good bye to our lovely Colin who retired in September and we gained Emily in August who took on a job share role with Rebecca. Emily has settled in well and we hear Colin is enjoying a different pace of life. New Trustee John Ash joined the board, and Liz Ollier stepped down after several years of hard work.
We are looking forward to a rest during Christmas and cannot wait to see what 2023 brings. Thank you to everyone who has supported us this year, we could not do it without you.
M E R R Y C H R I S T M A S!
