We had great pleasure inviting the sponsors, funders and those who worked on the restoration project of Hazel, to the Trust on Friday 25th April for the official ribbon cutting and launch of the new boat.
Val Khambatta (Chair of Trustees) delivered a speech of grateful thanks to everybody who contributed towards Hazel, which was renamed after Hazel Funnell who donated the boat to the Trust. Hazel Funnell (who was joined by husband Len) cut the ribbon to officially launch her for business, then there was a chance for everyone to view the new boat and enjoy tea and cake aboard.
